What Is Sculpsure?
SculpSure is a laser-based, noninvasive treatment that’s used to target and reduce or eliminate fat. It works for both men and women and on a variety of body types. One procedure takes an average of 25 minutes and can target multiple areas at once.
Noninvasive, nonsurgical cosmetic procedures require no incision or anesthesia. There is minimal discomfort, a quick procedure time and little or no recovery time. SculpSue involves a hands free heat laser belt that uses specific wave lengths and heat to eliminate fat cells.
SculpSure is not intended as a weight loss option.
SculpSure is a type of lipolysis or a fat –eliminating process. It is a laser technology to melt fat cells away.
SulpSure device will be wrapped around you like a belt during the treatment. The applicators deliver heat to a temperature of 107.6-116.6 F, that is hot enough to kill the fat cells underneath the skin while leaving the other tissues unharmed. During the 12 weeks after the procedure, your body’s lymphatic system naturally flushes out the eliminated fat cell. If you need additional treatment to reach your desired results, they can be done 6-12 weeks or more after your first treatment.
Few serious side effects have been reported. After treatment you may experience some soreness and stiffness. You may also experience some bruising in the treated areas.
SculpSure takes 25 minutes to treat with little or no recovery time. This meals you could have a treatment during your lunch break and return to work immediately.
As your body metabolizes the fat cells, fat reductions may be noticeable in as few as six weeks after one treatment. One treatment of SculpSure can eliminate as much as 24% of the fat cells in the treated area. Full results are normally seen 12 weeks after the initial treatment. Because the fat cells in the treated area are destroyed by laser they will not regenerate.
SculpSure Vs. CoolSculpting.
SculpSure and CoolSculpting have a similar basic purpose: to target and injure fat cell so they eventually bdie and ae disposed of through your body’s lymphatic system. The difference is that while SculpSure uses controlled hat to eliminate fate cell, CoolSculpting uses the process of controlled cooling , also known as cryolipolysis.
The potential risks, side effects and pain level and downtime are similar for both the procedures.

YOUR COOLSCULPTING TREATMENT DAY:
No Surgery.
No Needles.
No Downtime.
During your treatment, a gel pad and applicator will be applied to the targeted area. The CoolSculpting applicator delivers controlled cooling to the targeted fat. During your procedure, feel free to read, check email, or even take a nap.
HOW COOL IS THE COOLSCULPTING PROCEDURE? DOES IT HURT?
As the name suggests, the CoolSculpting procedure can be a little chilly. Controlled cooling is delivered via an applicator to freeze the targeted fat. Though you may feel intense cold initially, this feeling usually subsides within 5 to 10 minutes as the area numbs. Because most applicators use a vacuum to draw fatty tissue into the applicator cup, you may also feel some pulling, tugging, and/or mild pinching.
After you and your physician select the area(s) to be treated, the device is positioned on your body and controlled cooling is applied. A gel pad and applicator are applied to the targeted area. Vacuum applicators draw the tissue into the applicator cup. Applicators are secured to the treatment area. All applicators deliver controlled cooling to the targeted fat.
CAN I MULTITASK DURING MY COOLSCULPTING TREATMENT?
Absolutely! Many people read, check email, or even take a nap during their treatments. You are encouraged to do whatever feels most comfortable for you. So sit back, relax, and say goodbye to stubborn fat!
IS THERE DOWNTIME AFTER COOLSCULPTING?
The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-surgical, which makes returning to normal activities afterwards a typically easy process. Often times, patients even return to work after their CoolSculpting treatment is over.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS FROM COOLSCULPTING?
During the procedure, you may feel some deep pulling, tugging, pinching, numbness or discomfort. After the procedure, typical side effects include temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging and pain. Many patients do experience redness in the treated areas for up to a few hours after the applicator is removed. In rare cases, this redness may persist up to 2 weeks, but it will completely resolve itself.
AFTER YOUR COOLSCULPTING TREATMENT
Most patients can return to their normal activities immediately after the CoolSculpting procedure. While some patients may see results as early as 3 weeks after their first treatment, the most dramatic results are usually seen between 1 and 3 months following treatment.
HOW DOES COOLSCULPTING WORK?
From Popsicles to Cryolipolysis to CoolSculpting.
Years ago scientists at Harvard University observed that some children who ate popsicles get dimples in their cheeks. They realized that popsicles were freezing and eliminating small pockets of fat cells. The idea that cold can damage fat cells was the idea behind CoolSculpting.
FAT ELIMINATION AFTER THE COOLSCULPTING PROCEDURE:
Fat cells that are frozen during the CoolSculpting procedure gradually die and are eliminated from the body by the body’s natural elimination process. That is why the results are long term. The fat is gone for good. Untreated areas will have no change in fat cell distribution.
FAT REDUCTION VERSUS WEIGHT LOSS:
It may be confusing to hear that reducing fat is not same as losing weight.
Losing weight makes the fat cells smaller; it does not make the fat cell go away. The number of fat cells in our body typically becomes a fixed number sometimes in our teenage years. Losing or gaining weight does not change the number of fat cells but changes the size of the cells.
The number of fat cells gradually decrease after a CoolSculpting procedure by 20-25%. These fat cells are naturally processed and eliminated so that they will not migrate to another part of the body. Unlike what happens in other procedures, there is no change to fat cells in untreated areas.
FAT CELLS ARE GONE FOR GOOD. The CoolSculpting procedure will NOT help you lose weight. However if you want to lose unwanted fat and look slimmer in your clothes, CoolSculpting may be the procedure for you.
